Learn basic sewing skills as we make a quilted pot holder. All experience levels and ages are welcome. Participants ages 14 and younger will need to be accompanied by someone 16 or older.
Bring your materials and machine, or use our machines and materials to learn the basics of quilting. We will make a quilted pot holder with a butterfly design.
You'll learn basic skills like how to use a sewing machine, read and cut a pattern, and apply a fusible stabilizer.
This project is based on a pattern found in the book Pot Holders, Pinchers & More by Chris Malone, which is available on the TCCL catalog as an e-book here https://tccl.bibliocommons.com/v2/record/S981C11524022.
