Dig deeper into the 1985 classic dystopian novel "The Handmaid’s Tale" by Margaret Atwood. Trisha Yarbrough, Oklahoma Humanities visiting scholar, will present a humanities-based lecture on the text, followed by a lively discussion on the book’s implications and connection to our lives. Books are available at Central Library. Contact Becky Leedy at becky.leedy@tulsalibrary.org with any questions! This event is made possible by Oklahoma Humanities and the Oklahoma Department of Libraries through a partnership with PBS and OETA. Books for the program are provided by Friends of Libraries in Oklahoma and Friends of the Oklahoma Center for the Book.
