Join us on Pratt Library's Facebook page, www.facebook.com/tcclprattlibrary, to learn how to make a variety of fairy garden toadstools from Easter eggs, clay, bowls, flowerpots and birdbaths.
Fairy gardens, or any garden, look better with a few DIY toadstools to give them character. We will explore how to make your own with items you (probably) already have at home. This simple DIY requires very little skill or supplies and will be fun for the entire family. Supplies for small toadstools include Easter egg or modeling clay, hot glue gun, paint or glitter, and sticks for stems. Supplies for larger toadstools include a bowl, colander or old birdbath top; vase, large tree stump or birdbath base; glue; and paint or glitter. Transparent varnish is optional.
