"The Refugees" by Viet Thanh Nguyen and "Americanah" by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie from Nigeria are by award-winning authors. Particularly relevant are the following novels set in the Middle East: Mosid Hamid's "Exit West," Hakan Gunday in "More" (which centers on the refugee crisis in Turkey), and "Live From Cairo" by Ian Bassingthwaighte.
