What is D&D?

Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) is a tabletop role-playing game (RPG) that has been popular since the 1970s. In D&D, players create characters and embark on quests guided by a game master, also known as the Dungeon Master (DM). These quests are set in a fantasy world and often involve exploring dungeons, fighting monsters, solving puzzles and gathering treasure.

The game relies heavily on imagination, storytelling and cooperative problem-solving. Players use dice rolls to determine the success of their character's actions, and the DM narrates the story, guiding the players through the adventure. D&D has been credited with fostering creativity, social skills and strategic thinking. It's a really engaging game that has spawned countless spin-offs, novels, movies and video games.

What is the story?

We began with a prewritten adventure from the 5th edition Starter Set called "Dragons of Stormwreck Isle." Now we're off on other adventures!

What if I can't make it every week?

It's okay to miss a session! Characters magically remain in the game whenever a player is absent.
