Come and play the award-winning tabletop role-playing game Coyote & Crow. No experience necessary. For teens and tweens.
Coyote & Crow is an award-winning sci-fi and fantasy tabletop role-playing game set in an alternate future where the Americas were never colonized. The game was created by a team of Native Americans from more than a dozen tribes. Coyote & Crow offers a unique blend of science fiction and fantasy, where players explore a world filled with advanced civilizations, spiritual powers and rich indigenous cultures. The game has received widespread acclaim and has even won the prestigious Diana Jones Award for excellence in tabletop gaming.
Our adventure will use the setting provided in the core rule book available at the library. We will begin in the city of Cahokia following a very strange event: Color has been sapped from the world. Player characters will wake up one morning to a world of gray hues. This is the mystery we will spend our eight sessions solving.
The plot of the game will be ongoing throughout the summer. We will play every Thursday evening except June 19. Our first meeting on June 5 will be dedicated to helping players learn how to play and create their characters. Players can come for as many sessions as they like, even if it's only one. Mr. Paul will provide premade characters for anyone who wants to drop in at a later session to try the game.
