The award, presented by the Tulsa Library Trust, consists of a $10,000 cash prize and an engraved crystal book.

After the author presentation, Alexander will present awards to winners of Tulsa City-County Library's 2025 Young People's Creative Writing Contest and then sign books. Copies of his books will be available for purchase, courtesy of Fulton Street Books.
