All users are required to attend a Digital Literacy Lab orientation before using the space. These sessions provide a foundational understanding of how the lab functions and how you can use our resources to bring your projects to life.
What to expect during orientation:
Meet the Team: Introduce yourself to our staff and learn how we can help you navigate the lab’s resources.
Space & Safety Tour: Get a walk-through of the lab layout, including safety protocols and proper equipment handling.
Hardware & Software Overview: Discover our available workstations and specialized software, from high-end creative suites to digitization tools.
Policies & Procedures: Learn the "rules of the road," including how to book equipment, time limits and saving your work.
Project Inspiration: Explore examples of what you can create in the lab and find out which learning paths are right for your goals.
