Cemeteries may be spooky to some, but graveyards are a great place for genealogists to find family history clues!

We will provide information on researching cemeteries, tombstone iconography and how-to instructions on caring for gravestones. We will also provide supplies and instructions for making your own gravestone rubbing. Take the information from this program to use at your own family’s gravesite.

Wear comfortable shoes and bring blankets and/or folding chairs to explore the cemetery.
