American novelist and author Ann Patchett, winner of the 2014 Peggy V. Helmerich Distinguished Author Award, will give a free public address and sign books.

Due to illness, Elizabeth Strout is unable to accept the 2022 Helmerich Award, and Patchett has graciously agreed to step in as the featured speaker. Copies of Patchett’s works will be available for purchase. The Helmerich Award is supported by the Tulsa City-County Library and Tulsa Library Trust. For high schoolers and adults.
