In this experiment, we’re embarking on a fascinating journey into the world of invisible ink, a classic STEM activity that transforms everyday ingredients into tools of secret communication.

Invisible ink has been used for hundreds of years to send secret messages from one person to another. Throughout time, many different recipes for invisible ink have been created, making this a fantastic experiment to form and test our hypothesis. This isn't just about mixing a few liquids; it's an exploration of chemistry, a dive into history, and a fantastic way to spark curiosity and creativity in children. Get ready to uncover the science behind hidden messages, learn multiple ways to create your own invisible ink, and discover how this engaging activity can foster critical thinking, problem-solving skills and unforgettable fun!

Registration is required. Sponsored by the Friends of the Helmerich Library.
