Calling all young entrepreneurs! Join us for an exciting six-week program and learn how to design and sell your own products. For ages 7-12.
Kids will explore creativity and business basics through weekly interactive read-alouds and discussions, plus hands-on time to design and create unique products. While weekly attendance is not required, regular participation will provide the best experience for your child.
It all leads up to a special Market Day on July 12, where our kidpreneurs will have the chance to "sell" their creations in a fun, supportive setting. Shoppers will use free tokens provided by the library to purchase products, and young business owners can exchange their earned tokens for special items in the library’s “store.”
Ideal for ages 7-12, though mature 6-year-olds who can create independently are also welcome. This program is designed to give children a sense of responsibility and ownership over their own business ventures while working independently. Parents and caregivers are invited to enjoy the library while they wait but must remain on the premises as this is not a drop-off program.
