Reading takes a walk this month! Explore our StoryWalk in Centennial Park, where each stop along the trail reveals the next page of Lois Ehlert's book, "Leaf Man."
Celebrate stories, nature and community across generations with our monthlong StoryWalk in Centennial Park! This year's featured book, Leaf Man by Lois Ehlert, invites readers of all ages to explore the beauty of the changing seasons through vibrant leaf art and imaginative storytelling. As families, friends, grandparents and caregivers walk the trail together, they'll discover the story one page at a time while enjoying the outdoors.
To extend the fun, free leaf rubbing kits will be available at the Owasso Library while supplies last. Take a kit along on your walk to collect leaf textures and patterns inspired by Leaf Man, and discover the many shapes and colors that make nature unique.
Visit the StoryWalk anytime throughout the month and enjoy a self-paced adventure. Centennial Park is open daily from 6 a.m.-10 p.m.. Scan the QR code at the end of the walk to let us know you finished the story!
Sponsored by the Friends of the Tulsa City-County Libraries.
