Aaronson Auditorium (L01)Beloved Tulsa musician Shelby Eicher, a composer, teacher, recording artist and member of the National Fiddler Hall of Fame, kicks off our annual live music series. You may bring your lunch.
Surrounded by music growing up, Eicher has been playing the fiddle since he was 5 years old. He has appeared on The Tonight Show, The Merv Griffin Show, Nashville Now, Crook & Chase, New Country and the Grand Ole Opry, plus 10 seasons of Hee Haw.
Having recorded with the likes of everyone from Roy Clark to J.J. Cale, Eicher now performs throughout the Tulsa metro, sometimes as a member of the Tulsa Playboys and sometimes alongside his son, Nathan. When he's not performing, Eicher teaches fiddle, mandolin and guitar to the next generation of musicians.
